Ranked 122nd this year, Pakistan is world’s 17th least competitive country, according to the Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) 2016-17, released by World Economic Forum (WEF), Switzerland.

Last year, Pakistan’s rank was 126.

The GCR 2016-17 has ranked 138 countries.

In South Asia, Pakistan still ranks even below than Bhutan and Nepal.


With a score of 3.49 out of 7, Pakistan ranks 122nd in GCR 2016-17 and is in the company of mostly African countries.
